Alvarez (Northeast Domain)
Origin: Alvares village (near Sarein) Starting altitude: about 3200 meters Climbing time: about 5 to 7 hours (with a slight slope) Features: Smooth route without the need for technical skills. In summer, the most popular route for mountaineering and individual or group climbing. Access: Ardabil - Sarein - Alvares ski resort. This route has a special attraction for athletes who are interested in skiing, as it is the longest ski resort in Iran and the Middle East.
Moeil (Western Domain)
Origin: Moeil Tourist Village at an altitude of 2200 meters is one of the most technical and difficult routes to climb Sabalan, which is usually chosen in groups and by professional climbers. The famous peaks of Haram (1.2.3) Kasra and Janvardaghi and the famous Qartal (eagle) rock, which is the symbol of Sabalan Mountain, are located on this route. This route has 2 shelters.
Shabil (Eastern Domain)
